Submit an Abstract

We are using Easychair to manage the submission and review process for EU-SPRI 2014 (both open track and special sessions). The following link will take you to the conference on Easychair. In order to proceed, you will need to register as an author with Easychair (if you have not done so in the past). Even if you have previously used Easychair in the past, we urge you to please carefully read the ‘Instructions for Authors’ below before proceeding.

Instructions for Authors

Once you have logged in to the Easychair system for EU-SPRI 2014, you should click on the “New Submission” link on the menu bar at the top. Easychair will ask you to select either the Open Track or one of the special sessions. You cannot submit your abstract for consideration for multiple tracks/sessions – although the Chairs may propose to reassign your submission from one track to another. And once you have made your choice, you won’t be able to change your decision (only the Chairs will be able to do this) so please do take care to make the right selection for your paper.

Follow the on-screen instructions, providing all of the information requested. In order to keep the option to upload a full paper later, you must upload your Abstract as a PDF, Word, Open Document Format or plain text file. It is essential that you do not check the box marked ‘Abstract Only’ under the “Upload Paper” option as this will stop you from having the opportunity to upload a paper later.

Please also provide at least three keywords to characterise your submission. Once your entry is complete, including the uploaded Abstract, click the “Submit” button.

Once you have completed your submission and clicked “Submit” a new item will appear on your author menu bar for your submission (normally entitled “Paper #” where #= the number of your submitted paper). You can then return edit/update your submission at any point by clicking on this item.

At the end of the submission procedure (and whenever you subsequently edit your submission) you should receive a confirmation email from: euspri2014@easychair.org

Once the review process is completed (31st March 2014), you will receive an acceptance/rejection notification, with reviews, by email. You may also review the decisions by returning to your submission in Easychair.

Uploading of extended abstract or full papers (optional)

Once the reviewing process is completed, authors may choose to upload a longer extended abstract or full paper for the conference website by logging into the conference and selecting “Submit a new version”. This must be done by June 5th 2014.

Please note: submitting an abstract, extended abstract or full paper via Easychair does not register you for the Conference. Conference registration details will be announced in due course.
